Made anything this week?
Made anything this week?
I have made some bunting flags for the market, and 2 carrier bag 'dispensers', I don't know why but I didn't like make either. Will do a few more flags when the fancy takes me!
Re: Made anything this week?

No. Not in a "Crafty" mood at the moment. No doubt I shall be soon (I hope!)
Re: Made anything this week?
We have friends visiting this weekend so my crafty stuff has had to be put away. Our son has finally gone back to sea so I shall be able to do a bit more crafting soon.

Well I had a good sales day yesterday so I feel like sewing.
sold 2 peg bags, 2 mini bags, glasses case, 2 tissue pouches, 1 bus pass holder.....so very exciting.
so used my new 'displays' this week. amended the top of one - as bought a mini chip basket from poundland and stood up the nail files in it and hung the keyrings...sadly no sales there though.

Re: Made anything this week?
Your display looks fantastic. no wonder you sold so much stuff when it looks so inviting.
I made some rhubarb and lemon cookies yesterday as our friends that visited at the weekend brought down some rhubarb from their garden. They turned out brilliantly and most were consumed yesterday!
I have also sat in my craft room with everything around me and just had a bit of a play. Hopefully later today I shall finish the card as I thought it would be nice for someone who is part of our birthday club. I will have to see what it turns out like.
The other job has been putting bits and pieces away. I have got lots of the free gifts that come with the magazines and need to put them somewhere I will remember. Most of my dies are on a magnetic sheet that is stuck to the side of a bookcase but I have run out of room. How does everyone store theirs?

Thank you, they do look attractive - I was pleased, all that painting!
I don't have many dies, have you thought about back of the door storage?

Re: Made anything this week?
The village has a craft and produce competition in a couple of weeks. I have made a bag and have started making some bunting. It costs 10p to enter a class. Not sure if I will win anything but the 50p first prize would be nice

Re: Made anything this week?
I used the tutorial I followed from Pinterest.

The only tricky bit was the handle. I may be the owner of a bag that has a handle that is twisted!!
I suggest when it comes to inserting the second part of the handle, you fold the bag up so it appears finished and put the handle in place. Then unfold it and stitch the rest of the lines shown in the tutorial.

Ooh will have to read through carefully...was following until the last few bits!
Re: Made anything this week?
I've finished the bunting. I did have to unpick it as I had a bit of a flap where I hadn't stitched one of the pennants properly.
