Using buds and roses

I have a variety of paper flowers, both buds and open roses, and I am determined that I will start using some of them.  I have put a selection of cards that Clare and I, have made in the past, I thought it might inspire you to dig out those roses that you have tucked away.  Get that glitter out and tart them up if they look a bit boring.  I will definitely get making now that I have wandered through these.

Vintage
The open roses look perfect in the centre of a 'bloom'.

I need it
The leaves were cut with the Robo - but there are plenty of punches around for similar shapes.

Mother's Day
Lace and roses make a perfect partner for this card made by Clare.

Masked
A stamped image using the masking technique - once again lace and roses the perfect partner.

Celebration
A couple of rose buds sets off this celebration card.

Vintage
Lace and roses are always a good combination

Open Rose
Set onto a punched daisy, and then  some glitter from the many little stickles that I own.

Arranging a little 'bouquet' onto a tag makes for a pretty card.  couple of pearls give it a 'lift'.

Simple duo
Framed and mounted onto patterned paper, the addition of a pretty tartan ribbon sets it off.

Another duo
Gingham ribbon and embossed patterned paper, bring the interest to this card.
