Acrylic Album

This is the first Acrylic Album that Sue from the forum has made and she loved it so much she decided to share....... She has taken us through the steps.

Either buy an album, or cut sheets to your desired shaped and size, this one is from from one of the Crafts by Carolyn sponsors Craft Fairy, as did the die cut buttons and beautiful flowers.

You can click through for larger images, just press the back button to get back to this page

Firstly I edged all the pages with acrylic paint daubers - I used 2 colours that matched the paper I had chosen.

I then printed my photos - now I did them in pairs (easier to get them the same size before you print) as I decided I wanted the back and front of each page to be the same so you wouldn't see the backs IYSWIM.

I then started sticking the patterned paper down - when I cut or tore the paper I put 2 pieces together. TIP I also INKED all the edges of the paper I intended to stick AND then I inked the wrong side - this meant that any shapes that did not quite match up you would not see a white border

You can see where the next photo will go covering the white space - the reverse of the previous photo.

as you can see the flower covered the reverse of the star

I decorated ALL the pages - the title page I did keep to one side as I liked the fact you could see the photo on the 1st page

rub ons are FAB for this as they can be used and work on both sides - Rubber stamp swirls and accents will also work well using a STAZON pad
